Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) Systems
Product Code : SWE-MBR
Brand Name : SWE
Product Description

Fostered with a team of adroit professionals, we have been able to manufacture, export and supply a broad assortment of Membrane Bioreactor Systems (MBR). Offered systems are proven sewage treatment technology for handling and removing solid impurities from grey and black water waste. Available in varied specifications as per the specific needs of the clients, these systems are manufactured with high precision using superior quality components and modern technology. In addition, our clients can avail these Membrane Bioreactor Systems at reasonable prices.

Membrane Bioreactor (MBR):

When used with domestic waste water, MBR processes can produce effluent of high quality enough to be discharged to coastal, surface or brackish waterways or to be reclaimed for urban irrigation. Other advantages of MBRs over conventional processes include small footprint, easy retrofit and upgrade of old waste water treatment plants.

The MBR is a suspended growth-activated sludge system that utilizes microporous membranes for solid/liquid separation instead of secondary clarifiers. The system uses precision filter membranes having pore sizes of 0.1 µm. MBR treated water can be used for landscaping, toilet flushing, and a variety of other applications.

The MBR systems allow for size reduction of the structures required by up to 70 % and even increase the performance of waste water treatment plants.

The principle of membrane filtration is based upon the separation of solids suspended in a watery solution by means of a pressure difference. While the water permeates through the membrane, the solids, bacteria and even most viruses are retained on the concentrate side on the membrane surface where they are removed by relative movement.
The MBR system is provided with multiple membrane elements in an integrated membrane module in 2 or 3 stages in an aerobic tank. The MBR systems utilize side-stream cross-flow membrane configuration. The waste water is filtrated using suction filtration, and the filtered water becomes treated.
Air is supplied from the air diffuser installed on the bottom of the membrane module to prevent sludge from adhering to the membrane surface. Thus, the system can perform stable treatment without getting clogged.
